Compiling Crypt:SSLeay for SCO

Hello,

 

Please excuse my ignorance. This is my first attempt in compiling perl , openssl and Crypt.

 

I have a SCO 5.0.5 server and have downloaded and successfully compiled perl 5.6.1. My problem is that i have

tried compiling openssl versions 0.9.6m, 0.9.6j and 0.9.6c - after running 'make' i get same error in each

which it cannot find '-lresolv' - can you please me this.

 

If there is other info that you require I will gladly supply.

 

Also,  I noticed that in README file for  Crypt-SSLeay-0.51 under COMPATIBILITY it states...
"    This module has been compiled on the following platforms:" but does not list SCO ? is there a reason for this ?

or am i totally missing something obviously..
