Dan, I just tried the new version and it breaks my app in every test I have :-(
This is kinda typical: marc:[skituls]$ make utgen ========== Difftree tests ==================== tests/generate.rb | tools/utest_status Loaded suite tests/generate Started ./classes/xmlfile.rb:288: [BUG] Segmentation fault ruby 1.8.6 (2007-06-07) [i486-linux] Running simple tests, including those reported previously as bugs, in irb shows no problems so I don't think this is a build problem on my machine. FYI: marc:[libxml-ruby-0.5.0]$ uname -a Linux bloodnok 2.6.15.6 #4 SMP PREEMPT Sat Aug 5 20:40:37 PDT 2006 i686 GNU/Linux Suggestions? __ Marc On Thu, 2007-30-08 at 09:41 -0400, Dan Janowski wrote: > libxml at rubyforge (http://rubyforge.org/projects/libxml/) now has a > packaged development release from the MEM2 branch (New Memory Model) > http://rubyforge.org/frs/shownotes.php?release_id=14118 > > The downloads are highlighted here: > > http://rubyforge.org/frs/?group_id=494&release_id=14118 > > Please be sure to read the brief release notes about running the > tests in 'rwtest' without having to install this release. > > If anyone has amd64/freeBSD the rwtest/doc_file.rb seems to be > specific to that platform.
