I meant to work on this over the weekend, but I have been a bit under the weather. Let me look at it to figure out the right way. I know you suggested to just move trunk to something else and replace it with MEM2. That may be the best way, since trunk is not required by svn, just a convention, there should be no problem in relocating it to something else.
