Hi,
I'm running into some errors installing libxml-ruby on OS X 10.3.9.
I'm using ruby 1.8.6
Gonk:~/Desktop apple$ sudo gem install -r libxml-ruby
Building native extensions. This could take a while...
ERROR: While executing gem ... (Gem::Installer::ExtensionBuildError)
ERROR: Failed to build gem native extension.
ruby extconf.rb install -r libxml-ruby
checking for socket() in -lsocket... no
checking for gethostbyname() in -lnsl... no
checking for atan() in -lm... no
checking for atan() in -lm... no
*** extconf.rb failed ***
Could not create Makefile due to some reason, probably lack of
necessary libraries and/or headers. Check the mkmf.log file for more
details. You may need configuration options.
What are all the "no" lines about? I appear to have the 4 prerequest
libraries installed.
