Two things: I'm trying to port a number of projects to Ruby 1.9. Current status can be seen here:
http://intertwingly.net/projects/ruby19/logs/ I'd like to try libxml2, presuming that people would be interested in accepting patches to make this work under 1.9, while continuing to work under 1.8. The second thing is that I first tried to build it under 1.8. What I get is: $ rake (in /home/rubys/svn/libxml) rake aborted!
