Is this code in extconf.wrong?

 if CFLAGS.index(CONFIG['CCDLFLAGS'])
   $CFLAGS = CFLAGS
 else
   $CFLAGS = CFLAGS + ' ' + CONFIG['CCDLFLAGS']
 end


Isn't the if statement reversed?

Yup, it is.  Is this related to that FreeBSD bug?  -sc
