In addition to the enforcement issues as noted in the last post, it appears at least at first glance that any attempt at restricting use would be in conflict with article 6 of the Open Source Definition: 6. No Discrimination Against Fields of Endeavor The license must not restrict anyone from making use of the program in a specific field of endeavor. For example, it may not restrict the program from being used in a business, or from being used for genetic research. <http://opensource.org/docs/definition_plain.html> Do I read that correctly? -- Richard Gaskin Fourth World Media Corporation Custom Software and Web Development for All Major Platforms ___________________________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.FourthWorld.com Tel: 323-225-3717 AIM: FourthWorldInc -- license-discuss archive is at http://crynwr.com/cgi-bin/ezmlm-cgi?3
