Hi Eugene,

I looked at the code and did some experiments. 
When i get no userencoding I usually do nothing. ( I tried by deleting my 
second account information and sending a message then - in that case i got an 
empty encoding --> osd did no locale translation).

I will have to do some further examinations. Might be that the encoding thing 
doesnt work in osd at all.

About the default setting in qt-gui - is there any way to retrieve this from a 
plugin ? 
i didnt find any so far.
