From experience, the #ifdefs can be a pain, especially when the source
changes are as huge as Qt3 to Qt4. So we should maintain a Qt4 only branch. It is a little bit work, but I think the payoffs are much better. Also, I would like to aim for a Qt4 release around the same time as KDE4. So, that means the first half of 2007. Most likely sometime in the 2nd quarter.
