Here's the packet dump. User A is using licq-svn. User B is using ICQ5.1
User B logs in and then clicks on User A. The message window pops up
and it says that the user is currently away, so I guess it's checking
the auto-response.
At that moment, on User A's list, User B becomes invisible, meaning
that  I can see him as if he had me on his visible list (he doesn't).
User A's network window says "user xxx is (Online) to us". From this
point, we don't notice status changes from User B anymore. Even if he
goes offline, we'll still see him as invisible. The only way of seeing
his real status is if User A goes offline and reconnects.

 yes, package dump would be nice. I cannot reproduce this with the current
 SVN version of Licq.
