I've updated the Spanish translation file for the qt-gui plugin. Two

and "Use double return".
Is it ok to proceed like this? I mean, adding the strings directly
into the translation file? Shouldn't there be a way that all the
translators get a notice every time a new option (in this case) is
added so that we can update our files? I'm not talking about the new
untranslated strings, Kbabel warns me about them, but those which were
not included in the translation file.

You can easily verify it by making megre target in po directory just before proceeding with translation itself. This will add all missing entries. When you are done with translation, just make clean-merge, it will remove all obsolete entries which don't exist anymore.
