I came back to this workstation after some two weeks of absence. I
don't know what it has been up to meanwhile. I have checked for
updates through SSH, there was none to install. So, again, I don't
know what triggered the error. The message was there when I came.

The version of licq is 1.3.9/SSL. I thought it was enclosed in the
files. Now I know better. My system is running Slackware 13.

As this chipset is i82815 and can handle maximum 512MB, RAM hits the
roof at times. But why it would do that when I am not tinkering with
it, I have no idea.

Other applications were not affected as far as I can tell.
