The truth: the guy from RH Germany, that did the packages did a big mistake: 
he took qt-2.3.2, that has problems with copy-paste apparently (as well as 
early versions of QT3).
Read the recommandations:
http://www.kde.org/announcements/announce-2.2.2.html , section "Downloading 
and Compiling KDE 2.2.2"
I think that's why these packages aren't available as official RH updates.. i 
think they didn't go thru the QA process.
So, i'm sorry guy, but there is no solution, but deactivating "Check 
clipboard for URLs/Files" in Licq's options.
I might be wrong, but i don't think so. I am compiling and testing licq on a 
"genuine" RH7.2, and it's perfect (giving rpms at 
http://www.nikosoft.net/rpms/). When using it (even after recompiling) on 
that qt-2.3.2+kde2.2.2, i get problems.
