Hi,

I am trying to compile the daily CVS version on Solaris8 and although
everything compiles fine, in the end I an getting an error that prevents
it from starting:

meep:~$ /usr/local/bin/licq
13:35:35: [WRN] Licq: Ignoring stale lockfile (pid 28182)
13:35:35: [ERR] Unable to load plugin
(/usr/local/lib/licq/licq_qt-gui.so): ld.so.1: /usr/local/bin/licq:
fatal: relocation error: file /usr/local/lib/licq/licq_qt-gui.so: symbol
__ti7QDialog: referenced symbol not found.

Now, I've had before "issues" with Licq - in the sense that I was not
able to link it using Solaris ld - because for some reason - at least on
Solaris 2.6 ld accepts symbols with less than 1024 characters in their
name. But this was on Solaris 2.6 and I got it workgin in the end.
However - on Solaris8 I am getting this error and I have no ideea where
to start from.

Right now - the ld is from the last version of binutils, GCC is 2.95.3
and libstdc++ is 2.10.0 and/or 3.0.2. QT is 3.0.1 and was compiled by
hand. All examples in QT are working and as well the QT designer - which
excludes a missfeature in QT.

                                                Ino!~
