Include all possible information, especially packet dumps, debug output, log files, library versions etc. Check documentation and UI translations etc. whether they are current, and submit corrections. Submit suggestions for the web site, FAQ etc. Markus -- "GPL software is not free - the cost is cooperation"

Hello. I tried to install licq 1.0.4 from FreeBSD ports and got a hang after starting licq at the moment of loading qt-gui plugin. Then i downloaded latest snapshot (dated 8 Feb), compiled it and got exactly the same problem. Hello. This crash occurred when a static buffer of 1024 bytes overflowed. This is fixed in the latest version of licq in the CVS and should be in the next CVS daily snapshot. The CVS copy of licq uses the new v8 protocol (otherwise known as OSCAR) while the latest release does not. If for some reason you do not want to use the CVS copy, use the attached patch, and when prompted for file to patch enter the full path to icqd-chat.cpp (i.e. /home/user/licq/src/icqd-chat.cpp) It would be appreciated if the bug reporter would also contact licq-devel to let the developers of licq be aware of this problem and any future problems. Jon

CP1251 to ISO5 translation file This is the windows-1251 to iso-8859-5 translation file that is used in Macedonia to comunicate with Windows ICQ users in cyrillic. Please include this file in the translations directory of the future relases of Licq. Thanks Zlatko Trajceski ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Damjan Georgievski ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) P.S. would it be possible for the development guys to implement an Outbox for Licq like ICQ has since a long time ago? why doesn't Licq have one yet?? -- Jose Antonio Alves Tavares Filho "_]{ILLER_" -- A Computer Science Student at UCPel – Pelotas/RS – Brazil ICQ# 6093525 -- "The BeOS takes the best features from the major operating systems.
