I was wondering what the current protocol that ICQ uses is and where to get more information on it. I see from the New section of the licq website that you - the developers - are currently working on ICQ v8. I downloaded a recent cvs snapshot and compiled but my friend who is using Trillian still receives a message stating that I am using an older ICQ client and that some message loss may occur.
