Yes. We really need to seperate the stuff for KDE2 and KDE3, so far I have several alternatives I consider: - using a small configure compile check stolen from kde2's and kde3's admin dirs - locating qt.h or kapplication.h and grepping for QT_VERSION / KDE_VERSION manually - providing KDE3 support as (shipped) patch only This is also the order from nice to hack, so obviously I will try to get the first option working. Either way, I will probably remove all the hardcoded paths currently in the acinclude.m4.in, those should really not be necessary on systems which have a decent Qt/KDE install and sometimes even make compilation fail for systems which have a decent install using paths we didn't anticipate. I finished a very important TODO item of my primary OSS project last night, so I'll make this the first item to work on as of now. Just ask Dirk to disable my KDE CVS account if a patch isn't in by the weekend, that should motivate me to get it done. ;-) Rob -- Rob Kaper | "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little [EMAIL PROTECTED] | temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." www.capsi.com | - Benjamin Franklin, Historical Review of Pennsylvania, 1759 _______________________________________________ Licq-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/licq-devel
