i think the windows icq limites interest groups and past to 3 each. and 
there is a character limit for the list of interest for each group. of 
course we should not rely on this because it is very dangerous to write 
buffer overrun exploitable code this way, but if you properly implement 
interest groups and past and each groups of interest as lists, you won't 
find this implementation being fully used to its potential.
