Hello ICQ-devs. I have used your licq application fo quite a while (2 years?) now and
I like how it integrates with kde so well. I am currently running cutting edge Gentoo
Linux and can't get LICQ to work.

Although it was likely that something would not work on my:

        Duron 850 + 256Mb +
        Gentoo Linux GCC 3.1 + GLIBC 2.2.5 + QT-3.0.4 + KDE3.0.1

I couldn't resist mailing you the errors "licq -d 15" throws on my plate when I tried
to start it, because I hope you might bring a solution...
I want to run the CVS version as Redhat seems to have a CVS LICQ working on qt-3.0.x
and the standard licq supplied with gentoo is said to be unusable due to ICQ changing
things that LICQ doesn't like + the fact that it need qt2.2.1 which I dont want to
have anymore. Anyway, I have not found a good alternative to LICQ to date and hope to
get it running on my gentoo box.

Here's the slate:

Thank you for your good work and I hope your great app will soon work on the new
libraires and compilers. ;)

Yours Sincerely
