Hello all!
I am trying to run LICQ, but I can't connect. The error message is:
02:09:10: [SRV] Requesting logon (#15210)...
02:09:10: [SRV] Connecting to login server.
02:09:10: [SRV] Resolving login.icq.com port 5190...
02:09:10: [ERR] Unable to resolve login.icq.com:
Falha na procura do nome de host.
02:09:10: [SRV] Connecting to login server failed, failing event
I know that my browser is configured to run behind a PROXY. Do I have
to do this with LICQ too? And also... I have already looked for
information about how to configure LICQ with SOCKS, but in the README
section of the web site says that I have to read the SOCKS.HOWTO file.
But I haven't found this file in my computer. My LICQ version is
1.1.0, and when I read about doing the "./configure --enable-socks5"
command, I didn't know how to do this. I tried doing this command when
I opened the Console, but didn't work. The error message was:
bash: configure: command not found
And just for information: my Linux distribution is Conectiva Linux
8.0. I hope you can help me.
Thanks for the pleasure of being attended.
Sincerely,
Thales Medeiros.
