Yes, i thought about it, but currently i have no clue how to achieve that.
My first idea was something like this:
create a new mainwin but not show() it.
apply the skin to this hidden window.
use grabWidget() and resize it to thumbnail size.
save the thumbnail to the skin-directory so that this procedure has to be done 
only once for each skin.

but this thing about creating a new mainwin is.... *urgh*

well, i'll spend some time on it, let me see what i can do.
what's your general opinion about it?
