Hello all, I had troubles compiling licq CVS today (haven't tried for a week). I got the exact same error about qt-plugin at start up:
20:41:01: [ERR] Unable to load plugin (qt-gui): /usr/local/lib/licq/licq_qt-gui.so: undefined symbol: _ZN7QWidget5eventEP6QEvent. I recompiled many times with different qt-libraries (2, 3), noting worked. Then i tried to compile with g++-2.95 instead of 3.2 and licq compiled and runs like a charm again. =) So it seems that it is a compiler problem, not a library problem? Although I am a newbie when it comes to the woodo of g++, linking and libraries. But since I'm certain that I made no other changes but the compiler I'm pretty sure i can blaim the compiler. Hope that helps. Oh, bth I'm on a Debian unstable/sid, with the following qt-packages: dpkg -l '*qt*' | grep ii ii libqt-dev 2.3.2-5 Qt GUI development headers ii libqt-mt-dev 2.3.2-5 Qt GUI development headers (Threaded) ii libqt2 2.3.2-5 Qt GUI Library (runtime version) ii libqt2-mt 2.3.2-5 Qt GUI Library (runtime threaded) ii libqt3 3.1.1+cvs.2002 Qt GUI Library (runtime files) ii libqt3-helper 3.1.1+cvs.2002 Some helper libraries for qt-tools ii libqt3-mt 3.1.1+cvs.2002 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime) ii qt3-tools 3.1.1+cvs.2002 Qt GUI Designer and other Qt3 tools Regards, and while I'm at it: Thank you all for very good software!!! -- Fredrik Jonson [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: Take your first step towards giving your online business a competitive advantage.
