Every so often you see a complaint go by that Licq won't load because "undefined symbol: _ZN10CLogServer4InfoEPKcz" or some such stuff, and this is a well known problem because you need to compile Licq, qt-gui and qt all during the same phase of the Moon to get it to work (one of many reasons why I won't be taking up C++ programming any time soon)...
Anyway, what amuses me is when I have a perfectly working copy of Licq (1.0 as it happens) but if it's been up for a long time then when I try to exit it it says: licq: error in loading shared libraries /usr/lib/licq/licq_qt-gui.so: undefined symbol: quit__12QApplication and then crashes. It doesn't do this if you start it up and exit straight away, mind. No need to answer this... I'm just curious. About to remove 1.0 and try installing 1.2.3 which I've successfully compiled. imc ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! http://www.vasoftware.com _______________________________________________ Licq-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/licq-devel
