Yes, that is possible. Here is how i did it for me just a minute ago: 1. Building the daemon: ================== ./configure --prefix=/home/tr/licqinst make make install 2. Building the qt-gui plugin: ====================== cd plugins/qt-gui ./configure --with-kde --prefix=/home/tr/licqinst make make install Starting example: ~/licqinst/bin/licq -p /home/tr/licqinst/lib/licq/licq_qt-gui.so Hope this helps :) thomas
