I like to select text as I read it - it's one of those little mannerisms we all have, but that's by the by.
When I'm reading the history of the current chat in the qt-gui interface and do this, all is hunky-dory, until my chat partner sends me a message when I have some text selected in the the log pane. At this point the new message, rather than being appended to the message log, is inserted over my selection. Is this a desired feature? Personally it really annoys me - is there an easy fix?
