When you have built QT3 from source it's easy to get these tools back, simply edit $(QTDIR)/tools/tools.pro to include mergetr and msg2qm. Then edit $(QTDIR)/tools/mergetr/mergetr.pro and change TARGET to "../../bin/mergetr", same for msg2qm. Then reconfigure and make QT, it will only rebuild the new tools. When you don't want to compile QT yourself, you can switch to the new QT3 translation tools: lupdate, linguist, lrelease. Usage of these is desribed in qt-gui/po/README.LOCALE.QT-3 If you need to, i can send you the msg2qm and mergetr tools in a private mail. Thomas
