Yes, after using this for some days now it seems a bit long for me, too.
I believe a value between 100-250ms would be satisfying.
I agree, now one second feels like an eternity sometimes. I think this
100-250ms would be good, I tested 200ms delay few times and it felt
quite comfortable.
