Just a quick note in case you don't already know - if you've added someone to 
your contact list *without* their authorisation, they won't be added to the 
server-side list.  If you then perform an operation on them (like adding them 
to your always-visible list) you get an error 0x0A, which seems like it's 
along the lines of "The user you are trying to modify is not on your 
server-side contact list.  You should send them an authorization request to 
correct this error."

If you then send them an authorization message and they accept it works, or if 
they reject it it stops working again (so you can easily test it.)

Just in case you want to display a more helpful error message ;-)
