Which version of automake is required for the patch to work (compile)?
I have automake1.7 and I just upgraded my compiler and also upgraded QT to the latest
release, then I compiled Licq without the patch, but when I use Dima's patch, I get
the following errors:

  /bin/sh /home/pollywog/licq-1.2.7/admin/missing --run automake --gnu
include/Makefile
configure.in:11: warning: do not use m4_patsubst: use patsubst or m4_bpatsubst
configure.in:180: warning: do not use m4_regexp: use regexp or m4_bregexp
configure.in:9: your implementation of AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE comes from an
configure.in:9: old Automake version. You should recreate aclocal.m4
configure.in:9: with aclocal and run automake again.
make[1]: *** [Makefile.in] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/pollywog/licq-1.2.7/include'
make: *** [clean-recursive] Error 1
