look at the above line, you are using QT-Gui 1.2.8, which is our current CVS version. This means you have compiled licq (or at least qt-gui) from source. You need to run the update script in your licq source directory: licq/ upgrade/upgrade-1.3.0.sh. Also please make sure that you are using same version of daemon and qt-gui (means you are running licq-daemon 1.2.8 and qt-gui 1.2.8). > *sigh* I've tried reinstall it multiple times and it has failed. > I'm relatively new to linux, but since the program ran the first time > that's a good sign right? > When I ran ./configure in the plugins/qt-gui directory it said it couldnt > find 3 files, findtr, msg etc. I've read the readme, and it said to make > soft links to the files in the usr/local/qt/bin directory and I did that > for 2 of the files, the third one was unecessary as it was already there. > Could this be the reason why the program doesnt work whenever I try to > actually go "online"? No, this is not the reason. Bye, Thomas -- email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] IRC: DreamForce on #licq UIN: 75450207 (urgent messages only)
