Hi, i have been at the CCC2003 and used the java anon proxy from anon.inf.tu-dresden.de for my icq connections because the network was very insecure (icq clear text passwords).
Unfortunately the anaon proxy crashed while i have been away and licq decided to try a direct connection instead of using the crashed proxy (bug/feature). That wasnt funny because my password probably got sniffed by many people :) It would be nice to have a switch to enable "proxy only mode, no fallback" so security is reliable. -- CU Simon I like sex better than jogging because you don't need special shoes. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
