hi i just wanted to write an email about a problem i encountered, but now i know why this happened with the help of a friend of mine (thx! ;)).
i just added some more groups to my contact list (user functions, edit groups) and many users appeared in wrong groups. moving them to the group they originally belonged to didn't work, they appeared in just another group. some people seemed to have completely disappeared from my list, though they still exist in .licq/users and are in users.conf. it seems that i've hit a limit of licq. i have more than 32 groups (i'd actually need more than 40 cuz i have 527 contacts at the moment, and growing...) and licq seems to use "unsigned long" to store the groups and map the users to certain groups. is it possible to use another data type to fix this? i really need more groups, otherwise my list is really messed up, i'm not using a server side contact list. JG ps: i'm using licq v1.2.7 with dima's big patch, history patch and typeahead patch.
