Yesterday I found out that these accented words do work when exchanging messages among licq clients. I guess they don't work only when exchanging messages among Licq-ICQ(Pro or Lite). Perhaps it may be either a problem between Licq and ICQ clients or even a Windows/Unix incompatibility issue. I'll keep on trying.
