Hello Daniel,

i send this mail CC to the developers list because it can be interesting for 
other translators, too.

1. Yes, of course you can send .ts files as well. It doesn't make any 
difference because both types of translation messages can be converted to .qm 
files.

2. msg2qm still delivers with current QT versions, but it is not compiled by 
default. To build this nice tool, change your directory to <QT-path>/tools/
msg2qm and there simply call "make", this should build the msg2qm binary. 
Afterwards simply copy this binary to your QTDIR/bin and you should be fine.

3. While beeing at it i'd like to mention my ts2msg tool which converts .ts 
files to .po files. This can be useful for some of our licq translators. You 
can get it at http://oss.erdfunkstelle.de/ts2msg
