Hi! found a bug trying to start clean but with an old UIN.
downloaded from CVS configured and compiled. removed my ~/.licq and started Licq... first thing that happened was that I still had to run upgrade-1.3.0.sh to even get Licq running. Then I closed the signon window and choose regiter user choosing existing user. now it still refused to connect... I recompiled several times to see if it would fix it. Finally I found out what was wrong... my UIN was never saved in the file ~/.licq/owner.Licq password and other things where saved but it still said: Uin = 0 that's what stopped me from connecting and registering with the server. When I substituted the "0" with my UIN everything started to work again. /Samuel Blomqvist -- Swedish translator of Licq -- Free computer support at http://www.suggestafix.com ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: The SF.net Donation Program.
