MSN is an optional plugin.  AIM is now the same as ICQ, as far as the end user 
can see.

Not all of Dima's patch has made it into CVS yet.  I've been testing out parts 
of it and didn't add the reverse connections yet.  The chatview history patch 
hasn't been applied... I'll take a look into it.  The typeahead patch was 
applied awhile ago.

If you do upgrade to current CVS, make sure to run upgrade-1.3.0.sh found in 
upgrade/
