You can try this work around...
./configure --prefix=/users/user/licq/1.2.7
--datadir=/users/user/licq/1.2.7/share
All on one line of course (if your MUA breaks it up).
I'm not sure why this is happening, it's set for {prefix}/share... Do you
have only one licq installed? What does 'which licq' return?
