Yes, I noticed exactly the same behavior. Everyone who added me to his contact list can see me as being online invisible, irrespective of his (im)presence in my visible list. It behaves as if everybody was in my visible list. The only option to be invisible for some people is to explicitly move them to my invisible list. Then and only then they see me offline. I am using licq 1.3.0-2 that comes in Debian SID.
