It seems that many skins are partly broken since your last changes around status icon. I don't know yet if the skins are doing things wrong or if this comes from the qt-gui itself, anyway your changes are not GUI-neutral. The status icon is not visible or partly invisible w/ basic, pli, and a few other skins. I had to enlarge the contact list window to an non-reasonable width so that the status icon and text is seen.
