Has anybody been working on this bug? Registering new UIN in licq is not working here. I have tried many times, and even with successful registration i cant log again after.
I have created a new user in windows icq and i sniffed the packets. So i will post here both dumps (from licq and from icq). (i have masked the password) (licq) 0030 XX XX XX XX XX XX 2a 02 44 b6 00 49 00 17 00 04 ..<;..*. I have been thinking why does icq uses "00 00" at position 0x0050 while licq uses "03 00". Accordingly to oscar documentation (http://iserverd1.khstu.ru/oscar/), this packet is described like: (...) 00 00 00 00 dword just zeros 28 00 word subcmd (request new uin) 03 00 word sequence (...) I also couldnt understand the dword "e0 07 00 00" in positions 0x0081. Shouldn't it be 00 00 00 00? So, icq would be wrong. May i use this documentation? Is it correct? Why does licq don't register new users? thanks guys ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
