Please, dont apply this patch over my last one. From where I stand, the patch applies w/o problem, and I could not reproduce the h-clipped text (yet). I noticed that the "Typing label colour" doesn't apply to the background of the status widget in the chat dialog (but it applies fine to the tab label).
