Jon, I opened a new topic because I think these bugs are too relevant and need to be fixed. I'll try to detail them as much as I can.
1) with latest cvs, msn still is unable to set the status. The msn
server never returns the status (online, away etc) so although I'm
logged in, it doesn't show for me the status Online as you can see on
the attached image.
2) the dock icon and the qt-gui aren't operating properly. As you can
see on the attached screenshot, while the dock indicates that there're
3 messages to be read, qt-gui doesn't indicates anything. Sync problem?
Besides that, it seems that the dock is been updated slowly. Notice the
dock icon which shows half the offline flower and half the "new
message" icon. Very strange. All of these problems happened after you
fixed the dock problem these days, do you remember?
I'm using QT 3.3.4.
Obs: very important. Both screenshots were taken at the *same
time*.

Suggestions: if the msn problem is related to how the protocol
works, wouldn't be a good idea to take a look at the source code of
GAIM or AMSN (both work here fine)?
