Upgrading to Qt 4.x is probably not a good idea until it is stabilized (more than 450 bugs fixed in 4.0.1, is not smart yet to use it if you want stability) and shipped w/ major distros, unless licq is still able to build against Qt 3 too of course. The porting to Qt 4 might not be trivial too, and branching would bring more work to the dev team (you, Jon), whereas the development process is not that fluent.. Also: my guess is that the speed improvement (if ever there's one) may not be licq users' concern at all. > And any other major bugs that we find along the way. Better MSN support? My concern is about stability and missing features like file transfert and.. was multi-contact conference implemented yet? I must admit that I gave up w/ MSN in Licq a few months ago. My 2 cts.
