These and some additional files have been recovered from the licq 1.3.2 source 
found on sf.net. My guess is that they were corrupted thanks to the fact that 
they had svn:eol-style property set to native. This would mean that any CRLF 
(maybe even just CR) would be replaced by LF when commited (IIRC).
