I know sometime ago when i updated to qt-3 that I got the exact same
problem.  I never worked it out as I went back to qt-2 after playing with
KDE3 alphas.  If all else fails, try installing qt-2 and recompile. I
compiled myself on a Slackware distro.  I'm pretty sure it is possible to
have 2 different versions of qt at the same time.
