Your peer partner has to use SSL too, and since Licq is the only Client that supports SSL, he is also required to use Licq (How else should he be able to decrypt the message? ;-) ). Having someone found who uses Licq /w SSl, just send him a message and hit the little button with the lock in the message Window, and your Transfer will be secured.
