Hello,

I've got a problem with the actual CVS-Snapshot from Licq.

I'm using FreeBSD-4.5, XFree86 4.2.0, QT-2.3.2 (not threaded) and the normal
utilities that come along with BSD (gcc-2.95.3, binutils 2.11.2) and so on,
compiling goes smoothly and without any flaws. E.g. KDE 2.2.2 runs without any
problems on this installation.

I'm not passing any special enables/disables to the configure scripts, I just
type in "./configure" and let them run.

But then, when I'm trying to fire Licq up - either with the Qt-GUI or KDE-GUI
- - it's always the same game (The installation of licq is from scratch).

A typical log looks like this:

unix:~> licq -d15 -p qt-gui
18:30:10: [WRN] Licq: Ignoring stale lockfile (pid 5586)
18:30:11: [INI] Owner configuration.
18:30:11: [INI] User configuration.
18:30:11: [INI] Loading 0 users.
18:30:11: [INI] Loading saved auto-responses.
18:30:11: [INI] Loading utilities.
18:30:11: [TCP] Local TCP server started on port 49152.
18:30:11: [INI] Opening fifo.
18:30:11: [INI] Spawning daemon threads.
18:30:11: [INI] Starting plugin Qt GUI (version 1.1.0).

And after "Starting plugin Qt" there comes nothing more, licq isn't even
showing the graphical panel.

Ironically, when I'm trying the console-Plugin from the same snapshot, this
works like it should.

Any ideas, what went wrong/could be done, to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Marc
