OK. I've done this and can now build successfully. Thanks for the tip.

Now on to my original reason for wanting to compile the latest CVS sources. I
am having trouble with the KDE gui. I get the following error message and
licq terminates.

 test/bin/licq -p kde-gui
22:44:42: [WRN] Licq: Ignoring stale lockfile (pid 12292)
22:44:44: [ERR] Unable to load plugin (kde-gui): /opt/kde/lib/libkfile.so.2: undefined
symbol: __ti10KNewPanner.

I have read the FAQ and this seems to suggest I would get an error message
of this nature if I had an older Qt library in my path however I have checked
ths and do not have the older libraries installed.

I have successfully built v1.0.4 and the gui from this version seems to work
perfectly however I'm having trouble communicating with Windows users
on ICQ so would like to use the v1.1.0 sources in the hope that it improves
things.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks again.
