Hi,

first of all I want to say I am always using the newest CVS edition of
LICQ and the QT plugin.
Though all, I usually need, works just perfect, there are three little
issues I struggle with:

1.)There are at least two problems which I would say are caused by the ICQ
protocol or its implementation.

1.a.)E.g., recently a friend of mine (using Win and 2001b) wanted to send
me some UINs. I didn't get UINs or new users but a message looking like
this:
3"ICQ-NUMBER-1""NAME-1""ICQ-NUMBER-2""NAME-2""ICQ-NUMBER-3""NAME-3"
(This was on 2002-02-14)

1.b.)Another similar problem I experienced is when somebody wanted to send
me an authorization request and all I got was a message like this:
0Please authorize my request and add me to your Contact List. "NAME"
ICQ#"ICQ-NUMBER"
(This was on 2002-03-14)

Well, 1.a.) isn't a real problem I could do manually, but 1.b.) is a real
problem as I could not authorize her.
I got to add that on 2002-02-15 I got a correct authorization request, but
I don't know which version of ICQ they use. If you need this information I
can get it.

2.)Everytime I login to the ICQ server this error message is added to the
~/.licq/log.errors file:
17:32:02: [???] Server send us direct conn info,len: 37
Has this something to do with the "personal interest" user informations,
LICQ doesn't use ?

3.)Now a small one: If you update your information on ICQ and had changed
your ALIAS before, your new alias won't appear in the window
title/caption. Possibly there should be another setCaption in
userinfodlg.cpp

Now the praise:
LICQ is a real good ICQ client and as finally white-page-searching,
authorization (at least usually) and ICQ information update is work now I
like it even more.

BTW, there is a bug report by me called "Can't change my ICQ information"
(don't have the bug number at hand right now) which is fixed. You can
whipe it out.

Keep up the good work,
any answers appreciated

TIA,
Michael
