I'm new enough to Perl that I forgot about "print scalar" and didn't
know about the -l switch, but now that I do it's going to be useful for
future one-liners!
I'm thinking I'll make a history-export program my personal "learning
Perl" project -- I need something to use as a real-life goal. First,
plain text; next, LaTeX with fancy page headers, for those wanting to
print out IM histories and put them in a 3-ring binder. ;)
